Description
This kit includes a replacement upgraded lower steering column bearing along with needed parts for 1982-92 Camaros/Firebirds. The metal bearings were on Corvettes and then on other GM cars in the early '90's. By upgrading to a metal ball bearing from a plastic bushing, it will be a tighter, more secure steering feel. Replaces adapter # 7805822, bearing # 7805700, retainer # 7804440, and the clip # 7804439. This is a 4 piece bearing kit that goes in the bottom of the main steering column and visible from the engine bay. Sold as kit only, includes installation instructions, bearing and bushing will be assembled when it arrives.

Steering Bearing Upgrade
The before and after feeling in the steering wheel is stunning, I wasn’t convinced that this was worth it, but when I put the new bearing in, it immediately changed my mind; from old plastic to a metal bearing is 100% worth this upgrade due to the tighter feeling you get instead of the loose, sloppy steering that you've always had.
