Description
This includes led bulbs for all the lights that are in the 1993-97 Firebird tail light housings. The tail lights actually have 4 bulbs inside each housing (total of 8 bulbs per car), by getting this combo you can replace all the bulbs while you have the tail lights off the car. You will also need to replace the flashers, you can add a pair (turn signals and emergency lights) to your order or use your own. Without the correct flasher the bulbs will flash really fast (hyper-flash) or not at all. The led flasher will cause them to work like normal. We also include install instructions with the kit that show how to remove the tail light housing from the car. Does not include tail light housings.
GM changed to 3157 bulbs in late 1996, so if you have a 1996-97 Firebird we recommend double checking your bulbs. The driver side tail light is fairly easy to remove to double check with bulbs you have. The 1156/57 style bulbs twist in and 3156/57 bulbs push in which is the easiest way to know which bulbs you have. Some cars have different bulbs on the reverse and tail lights, if your car is like that let us know and we can provide the correct bulbs. Since 3156/57 bulbs and connectors are easier to find it may also be possible a previous owner may have changed your car or modified wiring for different tail lights. Be sure to let us know if your car doesn't fit one of the two options or if you have questions. More pictures further down in this description.

Why are my turn signals too fast or don't work at all when I switch to LED bulbs?
LED bulbs have a lower resistance so older mechanical style flasher relays won't work with them. LED flashers are designed to function with LED bulbs solving turn signal problems like hyper(too fast) flashing or no flashing. The flashers we sell use a ground wire which we combine both flashers and cut to length. Instructions show where flashers go and where to install the ring terminal which makes an easy install, a total of 4 screws to access the area and 1 nut for ring terminal. Unlike cheaper no load flashers, these will still make a low clicking noise so you know your turn signals are on. You can use resistor on on each bulb, but they put off a lot of heat and reduce bulb brightness slightly. Using the correct LED flashers will produce no additional heat and will not reduce output of the bulb.
