These UMI Performance 1982-92 Camaro/Firebird subframe connectors strengthen the chassis, improving handling, reducing t-top squeaks, dash rattles, and quarter panel flexing by tying the front and rear steel subframes together. Constructed from 2.000" x 1.250" x 0.120" mild steel rectangular tubing, our subframe connectors feature CNC machined 0.188" thick mounting points for increased strength. The precision MIG welded construction ensures durability, while the gloss black powder coat finish provides a sleek look. Installation is straightforward and requires welding. All necessary hardware and detailed instructions are included. Please note that minor adjustments to the SFC or exhaust system may be needed for dual catalytic converter equipped cars.
