Description
This includes led bulbs for all the lights that are in the 1979-81 Trans Am tail light housings. The tail lights actually have 5 bulbs inside each housing (total of 10 bulbs per car), by getting this combo you can replace all the bulbs while you have the tail lights off the car. You will also need to replace the flashers, you can add a pair (turn signals and emergency lights) to your order or use your own. Without the correct flasher the bulbs will flash really fast (hyper-flash) or not at all. The led flasher will cause them to work like normal. We also include install instructions with the kit that show how to remove the tail light housing from the car. Will not fit Firebird tail lights, they don't have the 2 sets of running lights.
We have 3 different bulb options for this kit:
Diode Dynamics HP48 - Brighter output with than stock with advantages of led - lower current draw, brighter output, instant on and white reverse lights.
3 year warranty
Diode Dynamics HP11 - Brighter output than the HP48 bulbs due to forward and side facing led inside the bulb. Metal heatsinks keep the bulbs cool and output high. Includes brighter HP5 bulbs for the running lights. 3 year warranty +$70
Diode Dynamics XP80/HP11 - Brighter XP80 bulbs for red tail light/brake bulbs. Brightest bulbs available, similar design as HP11 except more leds on the bulb. Combo includes white HP11 reverse bulbs. Includes brighter HP5 bulbs for the running lights. 3 year warranty +$130
Product Includes: 1 pair reverse bulbs, 2 pair running light bulbs & 2 pair tail/brake bulbs
flashers optional

Why are my turn signals too fast or don't work at all when I switch to LED bulbs?
LED bulbs have a lower resistance so older mechanical style flasher relays won't work with them. LED flashers are designed to function with LED bulbs solving turn signal problems like hyper(too fast) flashing or no flashing. The flashers we sell use a ground wire which we combine both flashers and cut to length. Instructions show where flashers go and where to install the ring terminal which makes an easy install, a total of 4 screws to access the area and 1 nut for ring terminal. Unlike cheaper no load flashers, these will still make a low clicking noise so you know your turn signals are on.

Tail Lights
Taillights are all very bright. They look much better than the originals. Install was under 30 minutes
