1979-81 Trans Am Complete LED Exterior Lighting Kit

Complete LED conversion kit for 1979-81 Trans Ams includes all the led bulbs and other parts you need to convert all exterior lighting to led. Includes Headlights, front turn signals, tail lights, side marker bulbs, LED License plate light bulb w/ a new housing, headlight install hardware and pair of led flashers. For headlights you can choose from United Pacific headlights with LED bulbs (low beam or high & low), Holley Retrobright headlights or no headlights. On the front parking lights you can choose from Dapper Lighting, Diode Dynamics, Morimoto or Switchback bulbs. For rear tail light bulbs you can choose from Dapper Lighting, Diode Dynamics, Morimoto bulbs or Digi-tails LED Panels (click here for more information). Price is adjusted when you make changes to the options. The United Pacific headlights will need to have the headlight buckets slightly modified (see picture below), but other than that they install like the originals. Holley Retrobright headlights have original looks with better visibility and don't require any modifications for install. All products are also available separately if you don't need a complete kit. 1979-81 tail light bulb combo will only fit Trans Am tail lights, Firebird tail lights use different bulbs (email us if you are ordering for a car with the non-tinted Firebird tail lights). Digi-tails option will fit Trans Am or Firebird tail lights.

Dapper Lighting Revive - Featuring side and forward facing leds, these bulbs are extremely energy efficient & have bright, consistent output.

 Diode Dynamics HP48 - Populated with 48 Epistar 3014 side facing LED chips, the HP48 upgrades the factory yellowish incandescent bulb to a modern LED appearance. 3 year warranty
Morimoto XB - With 30w of power, they are bright. High wattage means high surface temperatures, but the integrated fan works well to keep hot air away from the internal components of the bulb. These bulbs are big, unfortunately they do not fit the reverse light connectors so we substitute Dapper bulbs for that location.

 Diode Dynamics HP11 - Brighter output due to more forward and side facing led inside the bulb. Metal heatsinks keep the bulbs cool and output high.

Why are my turn signals too fast or don't work at all when I switch to LED bulbs?
LED bulbs have a lower resistance so older mechanical style flasher relays won't work with them. LED flashers are designed to function with LED bulbs solving turn signal problems like hyper(too fast) flashing or no flashing. Instructions show where flashers go which makes an easier install. Unlike cheaper no load flashers, these will still make a low clicking noise so you know your turn signals are on.
