Description
Complete brand new engine mounts for all 1973-81 small block Chevrolet (305 or 350) powered Camaros & Firebirds featuring heavy duty engine clamshells, solid frame mounts and grade 8 zinc coated hardware. This is everything to get the engine mounted to the car. Places the engine in the exact location as factory. Heavy duty clamshells are made with 3/16" laser cut steel with a durable satin black powder coat. Solid frame mounts are also coated black for corrosion resistance. Solid engine mounts improve responsiveness and help prevent engine movement, which can help in tight packaging situations (large header primaries, turbos, etc). Solid engine mounts work best in racing applications and may contribute to increased noise, vibration and harshness. Hardware is grade 8 with a zinc coating includes clamshell & frame mount hardware including the long bolt that attaches the two mounts. Will not work with big block, V6 or LS engines.
