Kenwood DMX8710S Double DIN Radio

Brand new from Kenwood, the DMX8710S works great with our 1982-2002 Camaro/Firebird double din bezel/bracket kits. The small chassis makes an easier install. In addition to the small chassis the DMX8709S has built-in wired and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, you'll have all your most-used phone features a touch away on its big 6.75" capacitive touchscreen display. Compared to the older model the DMX8710S has a higher definition display plus the ability to turn off the internal amp if you're using your own amplifier and includes a GPS antenna for improved radio reception/automatic time setting.  And if you're looking for some alternative music sources, it supports high-res audio playback, plus satellite radio when you add an optional tuner. Bluetooth® makes hands-free calling and wireless music streaming easy. Wireless Carplay/Android Auto allows you to get into your car and connect with very little effort, you can leave your phone in the center console or glovebox. This radio is easy to hook up one of our reverse cameras to and see where you're going when backing up, also has the ability to add a front facing camera. Built-in amplifier (22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels). This radio features 4-volt front, rear and a subwoofer stereo RCA output making it easy to add amplifiers. And when you're streaming music, Kenwood's Music Mix lets you pair five phones so everybody can pick their tunes for an on-the-fly listening session. Will not fit without a double din bezel or extensive modifications to the stock bezel.

Install details:
1982-92 Camaro Standard Bezel - Will fit with no modifications, easy install
1982-92 Camaro Reverse Bezel - Will fit on most cars, some 1985-89 cars have less space and can be more difficult requiring modifications.
1982-84 Firebird - Needs quite a bit of cutting on the center console to fit, not visible once install is done. This radio is over 5" deep which would need a lot of cutting.
1985-92 Firebird - Will fit with no modifications

1993-2002 Camaro & Firebird - Easy install with double din install kit

2010-15 Camaro - This radio is iDatalink Maestro compatible which makes it an easier install
