Restore a secure rear sway-bar mounting connection with these reinforced rear sway bar-to-frame brackets for the 1993–2002 Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, and Trans Am. Designed for fourth-generation F-body models, these heavy-duty steel brackets replace worn, corroded, bent, or weakened original mounts.
The rear sway bar—or rear stabilizer bar—relies on a solid connection to the vehicle’s frame. Deteriorated brackets can flex or allow unwanted movement at the mounting point, reducing the sway bar’s ability to control body roll consistently. These upgraded brackets provide a stronger, more rigid mounting foundation for the rear suspension.
Each bracket is constructed from .200-inch-thick steel, compared with approximately .125-inch-thick original brackets. That makes the replacement brackets about 60% thicker than stock. A satin-black powder-coated finish helps protect the steel from corrosion, while the included Class 10.9 zinc-plated metric flange bolts provide secure mounting.
