1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird Power LS1 Steering Heater Eliminator Kit

GM installed what some consider a power steering cooler on some 1998-2002 LS powered Camaros & Firebirds, but it is actually a heater. The cylinder this kit replaces routes power steering fluid though the upper radiator hose. Over time the part corrodes and power steering fluid combines with the radiator coolant causing damage to both fluid systems. Since the system only affects the return side of the power steering system it is fairly easy to remove the power steering heater from your car by replacing the upper radiator hose and return power steering line.
