1982-92 Camaro/Firebird Rear Sway Bar to Frame Brackets

Replace rusted, damaged, or flexing rear sway-bar mounts with these reinforced rear sway bar-to-frame brackets for the 1982–1992 Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, and Trans Am. Designed for third-generation F-body models, these heavy-duty steel brackets provide a stronger mounting connection between the rear sway bar and the vehicle’s frame.

Original brackets can corrode, bend, or weaken after decades of use, allowing unwanted sway-bar movement and reducing the effectiveness of the rear suspension. These upgraded brackets are constructed from .200-inch-thick steel compared with approximately .125-inch-thick original brackets—about 60% thicker than stock.

A satin-black powder-coated finish helps protect the steel against corrosion and gives the brackets a clean, durable appearance. The kit includes a matched pair of brackets and Class 10.9 zinc-plated metric mounting bolts for installation.
