1982-92 Camaro/Firebird Pioneer DMH-241EX Double DIN Radio

Add Bluetooth audio, hands-free calling, backup-camera capability, and modern sound controls to your 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird & Trans Am with the Pioneer DMH-241EX Double DIN Radio. This multimedia receiver works with compatible double DIN bezel and mounting kits we offer at Screaming Chicken (see additional information below). Built-in Bluetooth lets you stream music from a compatible phone and make or receive hands-free calls using the included microphone. A front-mounted USB connection provides convenient phone charging and media access without requiring a cable routed behind the dashboard. Does not support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

The Pioneer DMH-241EX also includes a rear-camera input. When connected to a compatible backup camera and a functioning reverse-light circuit, the radio can automatically display the camera image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. A backup camera is not included.

Audio controls include a 13-band graphic equalizer plus high-pass and low-pass filters for tuning the system. Front, rear, and mono subwoofer RCA preamp outputs make it easier to add external amplifiers and a powered or amplified subwoofer. 14 watt x 4 RMS/50 watt x 4 peak internal amplifier. A unique feature is the front mounted USB plug for connecting and charging a phone. Will not fit without a double din install kit or extensive modifications to the stock bezel/brackets.

Includes Pioneer DMH-241EX radio and manufacturer-supplied microphone. Vehicle-specific bezel, brackets, wiring adapters and backup camera are not included.

Install Details:
1982-92 Camaro Standard Bezel - will fit with no modifications
1982-92 Camaro Reverse Bezel - May require some trimming on some cars, will not be visible once radio is installed. Takes up most of your available space though. 
1985-92 Firebird - will fit with no modifications, takes up all the available space though
1982-84 Firebird - needs modifications (about 5" cut out of center console - not visible after install)
