1982-92 Camaro/Firebird Kenwood DMX8710S Double DIN Radio

Add wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth, and an HD touchscreen to your third-generation F-body with the Kenwood DMX8710S Double DIN Radio. This digital multimedia receiver works with Screaming Chicken double DIN bezel mounting kits for the 1982–1992 Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, and Trans Am.

The DMX8710S features a 6.92-inch capacitive touchscreen with an HD 1280 × 720 display. Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide access to compatible navigation, calling, messaging, music, and podcast applications through the receiver’s touchscreen or supported voice controls.

Built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support hands-free calling, wireless music streaming, and wireless smartphone integration. The receiver also supports compatible high-resolution audio files and includes an HDMI input for connecting supported external devices.

Two camera inputs allow compatible front and rear cameras to be added. Adjustable on-screen parking guidelines can assist when using a backup camera, while the rear input supports Kenwood’s optional CMOS-740HD high-definition camera. Cameras are sold separately. For system expansion, the DMX8710S provides front, rear, and subwoofer 3-volt RCA preamp outputs. A 13-band graphic equalizer, digital time alignment, crossover controls, and the option to disable the internal amplifier provide additional flexibility when connecting aftermarket amplifiers and speakers. Will not fit without a double din bezel or extensive modifications to the stock bezel.

Install details:
1982-92 Camaro Standard Bezel - Will fit with no modifications, easy install
1982-92 Camaro Reverse Bezel - Will fit on most cars, some 1985-89 cars have less space and can be more difficult requiring modifications.
1985-92 Firebird - Will fit with no modifications
1982-84 Firebird - Needs quite a bit of cutting on the center console to fit, not visible once install is done. This radio is over 4" deep which would need a lot of cutting.
