1982-92 Camaro/Firebird Kenwood DMX8709S Double DIN Radio

The DMX8709S from Kenwood works great with our 1982-92 Camaro/Firebird double din bezel & bracket kits. The small chassis makes an easier install. In addition to the small chassis the DMX8709S has built-in wired and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, you'll have all your most-used phone features a touch away on its big 6.75" capacitive touchscreen display. And if you're looking for some alternative music sources, it supports high-res audio playback, plus satellite radio when you add an optional tuner. Bluetooth® makes hands-free calling and wireless music streaming easy. If your phone is in the center console, you can still use this receiver's built-in Bluetooth® or wireless Carplay/Android Auto for wireless convenience. This radio is easy to hook up one of our reverse cameras to and see where you're going when backing up, also has the ability to add a front facing camera. Built-in amplifier (22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels). This radio features 4-volt front, rear and a subwoofer stereo RCA output making it easy to add amplifiers. With the DMX8709S, you can pair two Bluetooth-equipped phones and quickly switch between them for hands-free calling — an excellent road trip convenience. And when you're streaming music, Kenwood's Music Mix lets you pair five phones so everybody can pick their tunes for an on-the-fly listening session. Selectable button illumination for functions not on the screen. Will not fit without a double din bezel or extensive modifications to the stock bezel.

1982-92 Camaro Standard Bezel - Will fit with no modifications, easy install
1982-92 Camaro Reverse Bezel - Will fit on most cars, some 1985-89 cars have less space and can be more difficult requiring modifications.
1982-84 Firebird - Needs quite a bit of cutting on the center console to fit, not visible once install is done.
