1982-92 Camaro/Firebird JBL Stage3 Dash Speakers

Upgrade the front dash speakers in your third-generation F-body with this pair of JBL Stage3 48F 4-inch coaxial speakers for the 1982–1992 Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, and Trans Am.

The factory dash openings were designed for 4x6-inch speakers. Screaming Chicken aluminum adapter plates allow these round 4-inch JBL speakers to mount in the original dash-speaker locations. With an approximately 1.65-inch mounting depth, the speakers and adapters fit without cutting or permanent dashboard modifications. Choose the speakers-only option if you already have compatible 4-inch-to-4x6-inch adapter plates. Or you can add a pair of the adapters in the options. 

The JBL Stage3 48F uses a Plus One™ woofer-cone design to provide more cone surface area than conventional speakers of a similar size. The laser-etched cone is reinforced with 10% glass fiber, while the PEI balanced-dome tweeter provides clear, evenly distributed high-frequency sound.

With 50 watts RMS power handling, a 4-ohm impedance, and 89 dB sensitivity, these speakers can be powered by a compatible aftermarket radio or external amplifier. They are a practical upgrade for replacing worn, distorted, or missing original Camaro and Firebird dash speakers. Easy install for 1990-92 cars, slightly more involved on 1982-89 cars but not difficult.
