1982-92 Camaro/Firebird Alpine S2-S65C Component Rear Speakers

Includes a pair of Alpine S2-S65C component speakers that will fit the rear openings on 1982-92 Camaros & Firebirds with adapters. By using component style speakers, the tweeter won't protrude into the sail panel covers which is the problem with some 6x9 speakers. They can take up to 80 watts RMS or 240 watts peak (works best with an amplifier). Using technology developed for their flagship F#1 Status Series, Alpine's Next Generation S-Series car speakers provide access to all the wonderous detail of your favorite high-resolution audio files at an appealing price. These speakers are Hi-Res certified, meaning they can reach higher frequencies & certified by the Japan Audio Society (JAS). Glass-fiber woofer cone with High-Amplitude Multi-Roll surround & 1" cloth dome tweeter provides a full range of high-quality sound. With integrated crossovers you don't have a box or other parts to find room for. If you don't already have them, you will need the adapters in the options (convertibles will need different adapters). The adapter allows you to use a 6.5" component speaker system instead of a 6"x9".
