1980-81 Firebird AudioControl Dash Speakers

  Upgrade your 1980-81 Firebird's audio with these AudioControl PNW-35 3-1/2" coaxial dash speakers, engineered to deliver impressive output without compromise. These speakers have great lower frequency response for a small speaker. Concentric point source design provides seamless transition from midrange to tweeter, improving sound clarity as both operate in perfect alignment. Steel frame adds structural strength, minimizing potential flexing or warping that could lead to sound distortion. Includes a pair of speakers for 1980-81 Firebirds & Trans Ams, install with no modifications reusing the factory speaker brackets. These Firebirds had a unique front speaker location compared to other 2nd gen Camaros & Firebirds, they are much easier to get to since they can be accessed by removing the speaker grill. These speakers work well with a smaller amp around 25 watts or can take up to 50 watts peak. They are 2 ohm speakers so you will get more output out of an amp or radio power than a 4 ohm speaker.
