1978-81 Camaro/Firebird Power Door Lock Button Retainer

This metal retainer attaches to the door panel and keeps the door lock switch installed into the door panel cardboard on all 1978-81 Camaros & Firebirds with power door locks. Without the metal retainer the door lock will easily fall out of the door panel and can tear up the door panel. These are installed from the factory but often during restoration or door panel replacement the retainer is left out or thrown out with the old door panel. The retainer has metal tabs that bend to keep the retainer in the door panel. These are identical to the original except they have silver powder coating to increase durability and stay looking like new.
