1974-1978 Firebird/Trans Am LED Taillight Bulb Combo Kit

This includes led bulbs for all the lights that are in the 1974-78 Firebird/Trans Am tail light housings plus led side marker bulbs. The taillights actually have 4 bulbs inside each housing plus license plate light bulbs (total of 10 bulbs per car), by getting this combo you can replace all the bulbs in your taillights. LED bulbs are brighter than stock and have less electrical draw than the stock bulbs. You will also need to replace the flashers; you can add a pair (turn signals and emergency lights) to your order or use your own. Without the correct flasher the bulbs will flash really fast (hyper-flash) or not at all. The led flasher will cause them to work like normal. We also include install instructions with the kit that show how to swap bulbs, unlike newer Firebirds installation does not require removing taillights from your car.

Why are my turn signals too fast or don't work at all when I switch to LED bulbs?
LED bulbs have a lower resistance so older mechanical style flasher relays won't work with them. LED flashers are designed to function with LED bulbs solving turn signal problems like hyper(too fast) flashing or no flashing. The flashers we sell use a ground wire and include a polarity reverser. Unlike cheaper no load flashers, these will still make a low clicking noise so you know your turn signals are on. Most cars will not need the polarity reverser. Works best to try the flasher with the ground wire first, then if your turn signals flash very slow or not at all use the polarity reverser. Mostly cars with aftermarket or modified fuse boxes will need the polarity reverser. Either way you will have everything you need without waiting on more parts.
