1967-81 Camaro/Firebird Power Steering Pressure Line Kit

Braided Nylon PTFE 6AN hose for the pressure side of the power steering system on 1967-81 Camaros & Firebirds. Rather than mess with finding a stock hose that will fit your car, this kit allows you to route the hose how you want. Includes 30" of PTFE braided hose with a 90-degree fitting installed plus an additional 90 degree and straight fitting with an adapter (O-ring or Inverted Flare) to install on the power steering box. You will need to cut the hose to length and install the fitting of your choice. You will also need a fitting for your power steering pump, if you're doing a swap some power steering pumps will already have the AN fitting installed. If you're unsure which fitting, you will need let us know. 30" of hose is plenty of length for tune port, SBC or LS powered cars and allows you to route the hose at a good angle to avoid knicks or other issues on power steering. Uses Finish Line Factory PTFE hose, fittings and adapter. Hose is rated for 3000 psi and over 400 degrees when used with the included fittings, it'll handle power steering safely and securely.

How do I know which fitting I need?
If you have your old power steering lines look at the end that connects to the steering box, O-ring fittings will have a rubber O-ring where it connects to the steering box (see pictures in the photo gallery). In 1979 GM switched to metric threads on a lot of parts including the steering box, if you still have the original steering box 1967-78 normally use inverted flare standard thread fittings. If your car has been modified by a previous owner be sure to double check. You can also remove one of the bolts holding the steering box to the frame, if it has metric threads you need metric fittings.
