These fittings convert your power steering box to - 6 AN fittings which allows you to use AN lines instead of factory style lines on your 1967-81 Camaro or Firebird. Makes LS swaps or installing quick ratio steering boxes much easier since you can make your own fluid lines. Be sure to make sure which fittings your car needs, standard thread inverted flare or metric thread O-ring style. Includes a pair of fittings for the return and pressure lines.

Product includes: A pair of fittings, return & pressure side

How do I know which fittings I need?
If you have your old power steering lines look at the end that connects to the steering box, O-ring fittings will have a rubber O-ring where it connects to the steering box (see pictures in the photo gallery). In 1979 GM switched to metric threads on a lot of parts including the steering box, if you still have the original steering box 1967-78 normally use inverted flare standard thread fittings. If your car has been modified by a previous owner be sure to double check. You can also remove one of the bolts holding the steering box to the frame, if it has metric threads you need metric fittings.

Why would I want AN fluid lines over the stock style of fluid lines?
If your car has the stock engine and power steering pump than there isn't much of a benefit for you. If you want to upgrade to a newer quick ratio steering box or are doing a LS swap the AN fluid lines make that part of the swap much easier since you can make the lines yourself to the length and routing you want. In addition to that they also look better. Depending on the manufacturer most PTFE style AN fluid lines can operate at 3000 psi with a burst psi of 10,000 psi up to almost 500 degrees. Be sure to use the correct style of AN hose on the pressure side of a power steering system, do not use push lock style hoses.
