1997-2002 Camaro Double DIN Stereo Install Kit

This Metra dash kit is made specifically for 1997-2002 Camaros to install a modern double din stereo; it lines up with factory mounting to install and uninstall easily. There are no modifications necessary. This kit is designed to convert your factory radio opening to the size of today's Double Din aftermarket radios. High-grade ABS plastic construction designed to match factory dash color for 2000-2002 Ebony. You will need to move your vents, clips and switches from your original trim piece (easy process). Includes plastic radio mounting brackets. Radio opening is 6.825 wide x 3.938" tall.  The opening is bigger, works best with Kenwood, JVC or Pioneer radios. You will have a visible gap with Sony or Alpine radios. Color is a good match for 2000-2002 Ebony. 

This is not the dash kit we featured in our YouTube video last year, unfortunately they are currently not available. The manufacturer has provided no information on when that kit will be available. Currently the Metra dash kit is the only one available for 1997-2002 Camaros.

If you're replacing your factory radio, we also have antenna or wiring adapters available. If you no longer have the factory radio your car may already have these parts from previous install.
