1982-92 Camaro/Firebird trunk lights use incandescent bulbs from the factory, giving them a yellowish color. LED bulbs will provide a modern white light or they are available in blue or red. The installation is plug-and-play, just replace your factory bulb! Unlike other bulbs on the market, Diode Dynamics LEDs are built with constant-current inductive circuitry, along with transient suppression. While more expensive than simple bulbs, this allows Diode Dynamics LEDs to last for years, with no flickering or failure. This product uses the Diode Dynamics SML9, their top of the line product for this size.
