Description
This includes led bulbs for all the tail lights that are in the 1967-69 Firebird tail light housings. LED bulbs will provide better output, cooler operating temperature and less draw on your electrical system. You have 2 pair of tail light bulbs (1157) and 1 pair of reverse light bulbs (1156). Combo includes high quality Holley Retrobright or Diode Dynamics LED bulbs. You will also need to replace the flashers, you can add a pair (turn signals and emergency lights) to your order or use your own. Without the correct flasher the bulbs will flash really fast (hyper-flash) or not at all. The led flasher will cause them to work like normal. We also include install instructions with the kit. Will fit 1967-69 Firebirds.
We have 4 different options for this kit:
Holley Retrobright - Same size and appearance of the original except with the advantages of led lighting - lower current draw, brighter output, instant on and white reverse lights. 2 year warranty
Diode Dynamics HP48 - Brighter output with than stock with advantages of led. 3 year warranty +$40
Diode Dynamics HP11 - Brighter output than the HP48 bulbs due to forward and side facing led inside the bulb. Metal heatsinks keep the bulbs cool and output high. 3 year warranty +$100
Diode Dynamics XP80/HP11 - Brighter XP80 bulbs for red tail light/brake bulbs. Brightest bulbs available, similar design as HP11 except more leds on the bulb. Combo includes white HP11 reverse bulbs. 3 year warranty +$160
Product Includes: 1 pair reverse bulbs & 2 pair tail light bulbs, flashers optional

Why are my turn signals too fast or don't work at all when I switch to LED bulbs?
LED bulbs have a lower resistance so older mechanical style flasher relays won't work with them. LED flashers are designed to function with LED bulbs solving turn signal problems like hyper(too fast) flashing or no flashing. The flashers we sell use a ground wire and include a polarity reverser. Unlike cheaper no load flashers, these will still make a low clicking noise so you know your turn signals are on. Most cars will not need the polarity reverser. Works best to try the flasher with the ground wire first, then if your turn signals flash very slow or not at all use the polarity reverser. Mostly cars with aftermarket or modified fuse boxes will need the polarity reverser. Either way you will have everything you need without waiting on more parts.
