High performance stainless steel DOT approved braided brake line kit for 1998-2002 Camaro or Firebird/Trans Am. Goodridge G-Stop brake line kits include stainless braided brake lines for the front and rear, along with improved hardware for installation. Goodridge stainless G-Stop brake lines are the standard in professional motorsports where the ultimate in braking is required. Goodridge brake lines increase braking efficiency and removes the spongy feel caused by stock rubber lines. When G-Stop brake hoses are used with an ABS braking system, they virtually eliminate brake pedal "chatter" and significantly reduce stopping distance.
Weekend racers and daily drivers can benefit from these upgraded brake lines. They are a terrific performance enhancement and a safety improvement by reducing the the braking distance during a panic stop which can reduce the possibility of accidents and save lives. Goodridge G-Stop brake lines conform to all federal requirements of FMVSS106, making them D.O.T. Compliant and T.U.V. Approved (Germany). All Goodridge G-Stop brake lines go through a 9-point quality assurance testing process including tensile strength and pressure testing to 3000 psi before leaving their facility. To ensure proper fit and easy installation, special end fittings and line brackets have been produced to fit be sure these lines fit identical to OEM brake lines.
2 different kits available, 1 for cars with traction control and 1 for car with no traction control. Traction control kit includes 6 lines and Non-traction control kit includes 5 lines, both kits include new hardware for installation. Be sure to call or email if your unsure which kit you need, kits are not universal.
