1982-89 Camaro/Firebird map lights use incandescent bulbs from the factory, giving them a yellowish color. LED bulbs will provide a modern white light or they are available in blue or red. The installation is plug-and-play, just replace your factory bulbs! Unlike other bulbs on the market, Diode Dynamics LEDs are built with constant-current inductive circuitry, along with transient suppression. While more expensive than simple bulbs, this allows Diode Dynamics LEDs to last for years, with no flickering or failure. This product uses the Diode Dynamics HP5 bulbs, their top of the line product for this size. Fits all 1982-89 Camaros & Firebirds with the map lights in the dome light, will not work if your dome light doesn't have the map lights at the front. Mirror wasn't standard on all Camaros/Firebirds, but will will work as long as your car has the dome light pictured if your car has been updated/modified with a different dome light.
