Description
This includes led bulbs for all the lights that are in the 1982-92 Trans Am or Firebird tail light housings. The tail lights actually have 4 (TA) or 6 (firebird) bulbs inside each housing plus a side marker bulb (total of 10-14 bulbs per car), by getting this combo you can replace all the bulbs while you have the tail lights off the car. You will also need to replace the flashers, you can add a pair to your order or use your own. Without the correct flasher the bulbs will flash really fast (hyper-flash) or not at all. The led flasher will cause them to work like normal. We also include install instructions with the kit that show how to remove the tail light housing from the car. 1985-92 Firebird tail lights have different bulbs than Trans Am tail lights (one amber bulb and 2 additional 194 bulbs per side), be sure to check the pictures below to see which tail lights your car has.

Holley Retrobright - Same size and appearance of the original except with the advantages of led lighting - lower current draw, brighter output and instant on.

Diode Dynamics HP48 - brighter with more leds contained in the bulb plus a cleaner amber output and less electrical draw.

Diode Dynamics HP11 - Brighter output compared to the HP48. These bulbs have side and forward facing leds in the bulb for brighter output and more coverage. This combo also includes brighter HP5 bulbs for the side markers (HP3 on other kits). 3 year warranty +$130
Diode Dynamics XP80 - Brightest LED bulb available, big improvement over stock or other led bulbs. Similar design as the HP11 except with more leds per bulb for the brightest output of all the options. This combo also includes brighter HP5 bulbs for the side markers (HP3 on other kits). 3 year warranty +$220

Why are my turn signals too fast or don't work at all when I switch to LED bulbs?
LED bulbs have a lower resistance so older mechanical style flasher relays won't work with them. LED flashers are designed to function with LED bulbs solving turn signal problems like hyper(too fast) flashing or no flashing. Instructions show where flashers go which makes an easier install. Unlike cheaper no load flashers, these will still make a low clicking noise so you know your turn signals are on.
